Uploading pins the file to IPFS and records an ipfs:// URI, so the CID is bound to those exact bytes and the artwork cannot be swapped out after launch. Pasting an https:// URL keeps that string exactly as typed, and whoever runs the host can change what it serves. Leave it blank and a tile is generated for you.
